In her 25 years as a Social Worker, she has worked with military personnel and Police, Carers and people living with different abilities, the aging community, and medical roles including Palliative Care; all within the Northern Territory. With a deep understanding of human sexuality, Janelle combines her expertise with a genuine passion for helping individuals and couples achieve fulfilling and rewarding sexual lives.

Relationship Counselling
Supportive therapy for monogamous couples or people in diverse relationships who want to enhance their intimacy, address communication gaps, resolve conflicts, or navigate issues related to desire, satisfaction, or sexual compatibility.

Education and counselling to improve awareness of relationships and intimacy
Specialist Services
Counselling for diverse sexual lifestyles including ethical non-monogamy (ENM), kink and BDSM, and paraphilic interests. Consultancy and specialist supervision is also available.
What we DON’T do
We do not offer support in the following areas: counselling for young children and pre-teens, Court ordered assessment reports and family court matters. Forensic matters will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

What’s a sexologist, anyway?
And why is it important to see one?
A sexologist is a professional who specializes in the study of human sexuality. They are trained to provide expertise and guidance on various aspects of sexual health, behaviour, and relationships. Sexologists provide education and support for people experiencing sexual issues or difficulties, such as erectile dysfunction, low libido, orgasmic disorders, sexual pain, relationship problems related to sex, and issues related to gender or sexual orientation.
If you are dealing with any sex, sexuality or gender-related concern it is preferable to see someone with comfort and expertise in those matters. Sex-related issues are often considered private and can be difficult to discuss.
